Anaika Soti was born January 14, 1991 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and soon after moved to Hong Kong with his family for four years. It was signed for the film while working in Satya 2 and later shot the film in rural Tamil Nadu, revealing that she worked by acting like a princess to get into the character. The film and his performance as the daughter of a zamindar, won positive reviews upon release.
